Schooner Bay – The Penthouse

Part of the gated luxury condos of Schooner Bay, this sprawling two-story villa in Barbados is one of our favorite Barbados vacation rental properties, thanks to its incredible sea views and convenient location—just steps from Speightstown. Barbados offers a perfect Caribbean getaway with its tranquil waters, vibrant nightlife options and warm climate.

Relax on the private patio with a cup of coffee, looking out towards panoramic ocean views while enjoying calm, tropical winds. The patio also boasts a gas grill for evening barbecues, you can serve your meal out on the deck on the lower level, where you’ll find an outdoor dining table. Afterwards, unwind with a glass of wine in the deck’s seating area on comfortable patio furniture. You can also enjoy a plunge in the property’s shared swimming pool then dry off on the sun deck. The complex’s other shared amenities include a gym, 24-hour security and concierge service.

The main living space boasts an open concept design with neutral tones, minimalist decor and classic home accents. The living room features a stately sofa, plush white chair and opens up onto the patio. If you feel up to cooking, the fully equipped kitchen is nestled into the corner of the living space and offers stainless steel appliances.

Up to six guests can stay in the home’s three bedrooms. Each suite includes air conditioning and features opulent private en-suite bathrooms with marble tiles. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed and an en-suite with twin sinks, a whirlpool bath and separate shower. One guest suite features a queen size bed, while the remaining room’s two twin beds are ideal for children.
