Inspired by traditional Caribbean architecture, Sanzaru is elegant both outside and in. Stately columns, ornate chandeliers and floor-length drapes make the expansive furnished veranda feel like an extension of the interiors, which are bright and breezy in their own right. For special-occasion dinners, the formal dining room seats twenty-two; for more casual affairs, there’s a breakfast bar in the fully equipped kitchen.
The property has nine bedrooms in its main house and two in a separate guest house; all eleven have en-suite bathrooms. In the main house, there are six bedrooms with king beds and three bedrooms with two twin beds each. Two king bedrooms make the guest house the ideal escape for a couple still on honeymoon.
Enjoy the Caribbean sunshine and balmy temperatures from Sanzaru, or take advantage of its Sandy Lane location to spend the day on the famously powdery sands of one of the West-Coast beaches or on challenging fairways of a nearby golf course.
